Why did IPS Institute develop this qualification?
IPS has been delivering the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAA) for several years.
Many participants were forced to undertake this qualification as it is deemed to be industry.
These participants were not training accredited courses, never used competencies standards and did not assess people – the TAA was not relevant to their needs.
This qualification addresses the needs of anyone who facilitates learning. It is focussed on facilitation processes, tips and techniques.
It is the “how to” qualification in facilitation.
This qualification is nationally recognised and portable throughout Australia.
This qualification has been designed against international standards for professional facilitators.
AIPF (Australian Institute of Professional Facilitators) recognises this course.
