We have a few tips to help you get your management on board.
1. Build a strong business case
Any good business case should demonstrate how elearning can help improve your business in four areas; Cost, Quality, Service and Speed. We'll discuss this in more detail in our next post.
2. Use success stories
Senior management want evidence that elearning works. So you need to provide them with the proof! Give them case studies that demonstrate how other organisations have used elearning to grow their business.
3. Educate your management
In addition to success stories, provide management with elearning publications, data that shows how elearning improves efficiency and point to website such as Australian Flexible Learning Framework that demonstrate the effectiveness of elearning.
4. Overcome prior perceptions
Many costly and time expensive elearning projects have given elearning a bad reputation. Educate your management as to the benefits of using a system where there is no content development costs and the system can be immediately deployed.
With senior management on board you are well place to rollout a successful elearning strategy. The next step will be to understand and align your business goals with your new elearning capabilities. Our next post will talk about this in more detail.
