Now, some statistics for you.
This video was posted on YouTube on July 6 - Canadian time.
I heard it on July 10 (Australian Eastern) around 11.00am on AM radio in Sydney. And, they played “united breaks guitars” - not once but twice in the morning program.
I then checked out the song on You Tube at around 4.30 pm yesterday - July 10.
It had received over 900,000 views - in just a couple of days.
I am writing this post on Saturday morning - July 11. When I went to YouTube to access the song it had received over 1,500,000 hits. That’s another ½ million views in less than a day.
Dave had hoped for 1 million views in 12 MONTHS.
It’s now on my site - and countless others.
How many people will you tell?

And, to add another twist - check out a nice reply by Bob Taylor (of Taylor Guitars), who gives a couple of useful tips on how to travel with a guitar:

I don’t think you’ll see any comment from United. I didn’t when I checked their site on July 11. But maybe they’ve added something since:

And have a look at the 12 point Customer Commitment United provide. According to points 4, 11 & 12, Dave shouldn’t have had a problem! You’ll find it here:
